2 things for everyone:
- The fuel dock will now be open from 9am to 5pm everyday (weather permitting)!
- A reminder to all pet owners: while we love all the pets we see at the docks and around the marina, we must remind everyone that they need to be leashed when you are out and about with them! Just because your dog loves you does NOT mean they are great with all people or other's pets. We have already had multiple complaints of dogs running around unleashed and unsupervised in the upper lots over the last two weekends, and one close call with one of our patrons getting cornered by a particularly territorial dog. This is not acceptable! Offending parties will be asked to leave your pets at home if we find you in violation of this rule. Further violations can result in expulsion from the marina. ... We are well into the first month of the season, and it's nice to see some familiar faces around here after the long winter! We have plenty for everyone to check out.
- The new 400 dock is all set and ready to go; with slips ranging from 28' to 40', these powered/covered spaces are perfect for keeping your vessel out of the sun until you're ready to head out!
- The Fuel Dock is open throughout the week during our business hours! Due to us filling up our tanks at the end of the last season, our gas prices are lower than you'll find in most places, so come out and fill up! Note: due to the low volume of business, you will need to call ahead for service-- call (309) 738-9734 for assistance!
- In case you missed it at the end of last year, we finally secured a liquor license and can offer alcohol sales at the Ship Store and Fuel Dock. Currently, we have a small selection on the way, but if there is a specific brand or type you're looking for, please let us know!
- We are experiencing minor flooding at the moment, but we are still good to launch boats if you're ready! Give us a call and we can get you set up on the lift schedule. ... See MoreSee Less

The Season begins April 1st! All boaters are cleared to begin occupying the slips on April 1st, provided that we have these on file:
- A filled out/signed contract for seasonal services
- Current insurance documentation
- Payment, whether you’ve started a payment arrangement or have paid in full
We are ready to begin launching boats when you are, so give us a call and see what times we have available on our lift schedule! Lifts are by appointment only (excluding emergencies). Currently, the lift operates Monday thru Friday, beginning at 8am and shutting down by 3pm.
While we are a bit flexible with launch season arriving and needing to get launches scheduled, we do need to get things in gear for the Summer Season, and that is much harder to do with customer vessels in our work areas. If you have a boat stored on the lot or in the garage: please note that the Winter Storage Season is officially over as of April 1st, so please make arrangements with the office if you are needing to store the boat past this date. If we find your vessel on the lot without a storage plan/contract in place, you will be billed at the monthly storage rate (based on square footage) until a suitable solution is in place with the office.
You will surely see us out and about getting the Marina ready for the upcoming season- there are a lot of projects to do! As you arrive to your slip this season, please let us know if you have any issues that need immediate attention. Need a cleat moved? Is there a dock board needing replaced or reset? We will do our best to get it taken care of as soon as possible.
Welcome Back! ... See MoreSee Less

We are a little over a month away from the start of the 2026 season! Haven’t turned in your contract yet? Come down to the office or give us a call and see what we have available! We are excited to begin welcoming everyone back to the marina after these long winter months.
FYI—The marina office will be closed all next week (Feb 22nd – March 1st) due to scheduled summit meetings with F3 Marina and we will re-open on March 2nd. If you wish to turn in a contract, feel free to either mail it to the office or drop it through the mail slot on the front office door and I will get these processed upon my return. If you need to get in contact or have any questions, send me an email at Kdavis@f3marina.com as I will be checking this regularly throughout the week, or call (309) 738-9734 and I will get back to you as soon as possible! ... Due to the extreme cold forecasted for tomorrow, the office will be closed for the day. We will re-open on Monday, 1/26. Stay warm out there!
If you have yet to turn in a contract for 2026, please get this to us as soon as possible so we can get your name assigned to your preferred slip. Please remember to include current insurance documentation when turning in your contract.
There is still plenty of space left for the coming season, and we're looking forward to a great year! We have a brand new dock getting ready for boats up to 40', and large portions of the marina have greatly improved depth due to last year's dredging. If you haven't been down to Sunset Marina in a while, it's time to come check us out! ... See MoreSee Less
